With a classic colour scheme, white flowers, and a beautiful black tie affair, the choices for how to do Sigal's wedding look were endless. Sigal herself is a natural makeup wearer and wanted to play up her eyes, so I designed a classic makeup look personalised to Sigal's complexion and features–– a true, you-but-better wedding look that brought out what nature has blessed her with.
Months before her wedding, Sigal and I consulted on getting her skin looking its best. The night before her wedding, I gave Sigal Charlotte Tilbury's Multi-Miracle Glow for an an overnight facial. On the day of, I used a mix of glowing skincare and velvet complexion products to give her skin a red carpet finish: her skin practically appeared to be airbrushed in real life, and not just in photo.
I lined the top and bottom of Sigal's eyes in a deep brown eyeliner, not black, to bring out her natural almond eye shape and keep an air of timeless elegance. For a doe-eyed effect, I used a mix of short and medium individual lashes, I applied the mediums in the center of her eyes. I took inspiration from Sigal's pearls and adorned her cheekbones in a pearl-like highlight with a NARS Multiple in "Luxor". For a naturally youthful and glowing look, I applied blush high up on the apples of Sigal's cheeks; a classic pink lipstick by Lancôme complemented.
Blushing bridal beauty, done in a classic, timeless way.

Marla’s Upper East Side wedding look was, if only in one word, "classic." For makeup, her request was simple: create a flattering, long-lasting makeup that could last a June, New York City day and into her wedding night. With an ivory dress, white roses, and silver accessories, we created a feminine, smart, uptown girl look, one that was personal and perfect to Marla's skintone, coloring, eyes, and style.
Marla’s skin is naturally on the normal-to-oily side, so I knew antioxidants would help balance and brighten her complexion; we used a mix of a BHA toner and vitamin C, topped off with a lightweight hydrator to prep. Long-lasting coverage was applied sparingly, where needed, and in thin layers for a barely-there finish–– and the overall effect left her skin polished and yet not over done.
For center-stage eyes, Charlotte Tilbury's Luxury Palette in "The Uptown Girl" gave us a perfect smokey eye. Not only did its colors–– a champagne and lilac grey–– enhance Marla's eyecolour, it over all suited to her wedding style and Marla's personality. We finished the look with a beige inner eyeliner to brighten her eyes and pop her lashes.
For a velvety, chic bronzing that capitalized on Marla's light tan, I swept MAC's "Matte Bronze" over her forehead, cheeks, and bridge of her nose. A pinky blush and matching lipstick played nicely with our uptown girl eyes and lent a demure girliness to our finished look.
For Marla's mother, her makeup signature was an elongated eye and statement lip. We nourished and prepped her skin, then opted for a flawlessly fresh base (Chanel's Vitalumiere). A NARS Multiple in bronzer "Malaysia" provided warmth while looking natural and real.
To give her eyes a sultry effect, we applied a long-lasting brown eyeliner only on the outer third of her eye. Tom Ford's "Cognac Sable" Eyeshadow Quad was a warm complement to her own blush dress and statement lips, and Marla's wedding look. I layered Tilbury lipsticks in "Walk of Shame" and "Amazing Grace" for volume and longevity. Marla's mother kept her own Laura Mercier "Belize" lipstick handy for touchups, although Marla told me the next day that both of their makeups had lasted all day and well into the night.

Eleni and I have known each other almost our entire lives, so when she asked me to work with her for her wedding, the answer was an easy 'yes'. Eleni is naturally stunning, loves beauty, and loves a lip, and for her bridal shower wanted to wear Charlotte Tilbury's "The Queen" lipstick: I created a show-stoppingly chic makeup look personal to Eleni and based around her lipstick choice. For her, I pulled out all the stops for total royal treatment.
In the months leading up to her shower, Eleni and I consulted on how to get he most in her skincare and diet to get her looking her absolute best. We began with a facial: Charlotte Tilbury’s Goddess Clay Mask and REN’s 1-Minute Facial boosted and prepared her skin; then, I applied a couple of Tata Harper essences to brighten and hydrate, a vitamin C serum, hugged by Charlotte’s Tilbury Magic Cream. Adding layers of hydration in between created an envy-inducing glow before makeup was even on.
I applied Chantecaille’s Just Skin to sheerly tint Eleni’s already even complexion, and used a concealer to cover where needed. Charlotte Tilbury once said, “If one has good skin then one must show it off” and I agree: smart coverage with a wash of powders like NARS Laguna and peony blush flattered her olive complexion and left Eleni looking perfect in every light.
For longevity, I applied "The Queen" lipstick in layers; reds can seem vintage and dated, so I kept the edges soft to create a modern look. Her almond eyes were framed by a flicky eyeliner with lashes, and a simple wash of shadow. The overall effect was chic in a you-but-better way. She had a hunch that "The Queen" would be a perfect complement to her bridal shower dress and style. and she was totally right.
Eleni told me that by the end of the night, her skin still looked amazing and her lipstick lasted without touching up. She didn’t want to take off her makeup–– the best compliment a makeup artist could get!

Martha's wedding was the epitome of New York City modern elegant style, and her makeup inspiration was pure red carpet glamour. With black accents in an a white wedding colour palette, we settled on a look fit for a celebrity on the red carpet.
On her wedding day, Martha and I prepped her skin with Charlotte Tilbury's Goddess Clay Mask for a quick facial. Her winter wedding fell on a sunny February day, calling for dewy skin for her and her party: I used a combination of Charlotte's Magic Cream, Light Wonder, and Magic Foundations based on each party member's complexions. The effect was youthful and glowing and lasted all wedding-day long.
I framed Martha's eyes in a small amount of eyeshadows in champagnes and taupes, with individual lashes and topping off with Tom Ford liquid eyeliner: the effect was chic, classic, and flirty, a la Angelina Jolie. We wanted a nude-with-colour on Martha's lips to let her eyes take center stage, so we opted for Tilbury's peachy-pinky girly nude "Bitch Perfect" K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick (who doesn't love that name). A rose-gold Tilbury x Norman Parkinson Highlighter gave Martha's skin a candlelit glow, while imparting a barely-there I'm-just-naturally-pretty blush. Her bridesmaid's black dresses lended themselves equally to chic black-kohl rimmed eyes. Without being heavy or smokey, the overall look was showstopping and elegant.

For her November wedding, I sought to create wedding beauty that reflected not only Lisa's New York City lifestyle and makeup personality, but also her incredibly modern and timeless Manhattan occasion.
New York City winters can be hard on skin, so for Lisa's wedding glow, I prepared her with an arsenal of skin savers: on the day of, we prepped her skin with plumping moisture-binders, topping off with Caudalie Premier Cru for face and eye and a thin veil of NARS Tinted Moisturizer. This left her skin elegantly finished, while being visibly lifted and freshly dewy.
We brought out the green in Lisa's hazel eyes using NARS longwearing eyeliners and Givenchy eyeshadows and Phenom Eyes waterproof mascara–– all in soft, midtone plums, greys, and browns. To let her eyes remain our focus, I draped Lisa's skin in choice color using cream-to-powder textures, finishing off with peachy-pinky golden cheeks and lips ala NARS Multiples. I treated Lisa's bridal party to some of the same attention to detail: playing off of their dresses, I incorporated similar tones while including some elegant lavender-greys and violets on eyes, and plummy pinks on lips and cheeks. The result was a very fresh, timeless makeup that lasted all through the day and night, and in photos for years to come.

Beena is a natural girl and minimalist when it comes to makeup; for her American wedding ceremony, we took inspiration from her own coloring and wedding palette to play up her natural good looks in a you-but-better way.
NARS Tinted Moisturizer helped us to capitalize on Beena's naturally beautiful complexion. After applying sparingly, we corrected and brightened any imperfections (there were few), Showing off great skin through a sheer tint makes for a natural, long-lasting result that can feel true to you. Overall, I think the result went above and beyond Beena's expectations.
The rest of the makeup was kept simple and perfecting. By using a bronzer and highlighter, we brought out Beena's natural facial framework. We minimally groomed her eyebrows, and played up her eyes by lining in individual lashes and mascara. MAC's "Twig" lipstick is a favourite of mine and of Beena's (I pulled this colour choice straight from Beena's own makeup bag); it looked like her lips but enhanced. We loved it so much that I dabbed it on her cheeks for a natural skin like blush that looked like Beena's own.
Every aspect of Been'a makeup was in perfect harmony with her look, lifestyle, and wedding palette.
