In the tutorial below, MAC Artist Tomomi Iwasaki applies the Hangover Cheeks technique. Applying blush only slightly higher than where you think, makes cheekbones look lifted, sunkissed, and radiant.
I think of it as almost under the eyes, like an indulgent flush in a Rococo painting.
Her model's cheeks at the video's end: gravity-less. It works with any blush, and I have yet to find a face shape this doesn't complement. My clients tell me it's life-changing, I hope you love it as much as I do.
For Holly's cheeks (pictured right), I applied a mix of Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar bronzer, BECCA highlighter in "Champagne Pop", and a satin, MAC Mineralize blush in "Warm Soul", high up, using the Hangover Cheek Technique.
